Role Title: Document Management & Organisational Development Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Cockburn Central

Role Description

Audit our current folder structures, file naming conventions, and version control processes.
Recommend and implement improvements to ensure consistency, clarity, and ease of use. Create and document updated naming conventions and folder hierarchies. Review and update version control practices to ensure the latest documents are always easy to identify. Identify outdated files and coordinate archiving or secure deletion. Develop a simple, user-friendly guide for staff on how to store and manage documents going forward. Collaborate with team members to understand their needs and ensure the system works for everyone. What You'll Bring: Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Confidence working with digital file systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive, or similar). An interest in process improvement and making systems more efficient. Clear communication skills to explain processes and changes to others. A proactive, problem-solving mindset - you enjoy finding better ways to do things.
