Role Title: Research Intern - National Disability Recruitment Coordinator

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Wembley
Working on projects in this team including:
1. Updating our Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace training with fresh research, case studies and evidence
2. Sourcing list of national intermediaries to promote Job Access that aren’t directly related with Disability such as chartered accountants, WHS training providers etc.
3. Research on first nations and disability employment inclusion to inform and update new content
4. Transitioning our Disability Awareness Training to a proposed training module that captures knowledge and understanding via questions as attendees go. Use VET approach with learning outcomes. ‘At the end of this training your will be able to…’
JobAccess is an Australian government initiative that provides support, information, and resources to help people with disabilities find and keep jobs. The JobAccess team provides services such as workplace adjustments, funding through the EAF, and expert advice for people with disability, employers and service providers. They also help businesses create inclusive workplaces by providing guidance on disability employment and accessibility. JobAccess is a national program delivered across Australia.
