Nakuru Hope is a Perth charity that employs a team in Kaptembwa in Nakuru, Kenya through the Gabriel Learning Centre; a pre-primary, primary and junior high school, a children's home for orphaned or abandoned children and a medical clinic.
We are building a new fundraising event in Perth, in early May. Your job is to help plan this event. You will research comparable events and prepare a project plan, including marketing and communications, with recommendations the team can review.
You will work directly with the CEO throughout, so you see how those decisions get made. What you build here shapes an event that keeps funding the school, the meals and the medical clinic in Nakuru.
Nakuru Hope is an Australian Charity, based in Perth, founded by Susan Saleeba OAM. It provides support to over 300 children in Kenya. Established in 2007, Nakuru Hope has built an orphanage, pre-primary and primary school.
It's mission is to provide food, a safe haven, education and counsel to those who are destitute and illiterate.
