Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Perth

Role Description

The Standards Monitoring Unit (SMU) is a team of 16 responsible for monitoring Residential Care Services and Child Protection Services for
the Department of Communities. We are aiming to collect data related to reporting of the work undertaken by the unit to demonstrate scale and scope of work, and work flows, related to team resourcing. This work would be presented in reporting to Executive and also in a Power BI. The key purpose of this role would be to understand the work of the SMU from both and internal and external perspective, and create a functional point of data collection and an informative Power BI page. We envisage that the Data Analyst will utilise the SharePoint Platform to create a data collection point on the work of the SMU. This will be used to create unit reports, and a Power BI.
