Role Description

This project focuses on the statewide rollout of the Aboriginal Representative Organisation (ARO) within the Priority Initiatives Division of Child Protection and Family Support. It aligns with the CSA legislation and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Child Placement Principles, incorporating placement consultations, Cultural Support Plan developments, and reviews.
A key component of the project is a comprehensive evaluation process, ensuring both qualitative and quantitative data are gathered effectively. This process will help define clear guidelines and provide valuable insights for project management and delivery. The selected intern will work closely with a team of Aboriginal staff and leadership, benefiting from a strong cultural perspective and a supportive environment that fosters growth
