Role Title: Physical Literacy Content Creator
Organisation: KIDDO (part of UWA)
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: UWA - Crawley
KIDDO (www.kiddo.edu.au) is a fun, evidence-based program that helps educators teach fundamental movement skills and physical literacy in early learning centres and primary schools. Our goal? To give every child the skills and confidence to be active for life.
We’re getting ready to launch our first-ever Physical Literacy Week — a national campaign to inspire childcare services across Australia to celebrate movement and physical literacy — and we’re looking for an intern to help bring it to life!
As the Physical Literacy Content Creator, you’ll be working closely with our Program Director and Digital Marketing Specialist to:
Plan and schedule creative content for social media and the KIDDO website
Help film and edit short videos that are fun, informative, and engaging
Design easy-to-use resources for educators and families taking part in the campaign
Support the organisation and delivery of campaign materials and communications
There may also be the chance to jump into some of our physical activity sessions with young children — they’re always full of energy and lots of laughs.
This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in content creation, campaign planning, project management and working on a meaningful project that supports children’s health and development.
